Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 October 2026. Our online store opens on 1 November 2026; these policies apply to orders from that date.
This policy explains what personal information SimStretch collects, why, and your rights. SimStretch is a trading name of Sync Up Limited (company number 15763868, registered in England and Wales), which is the “controller” of your information under UK data protection law. Registered office: 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. Contact: support@simstretch.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, which you give us at checkout.
- Order details: the plan you bought, price, date and order reference, and the eSIM details we deliver to you (such as its ICCID and activation code).
- Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you paid and limited details, but we never see or store your full card number.
- Messages you send us, such as support emails.
- Basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) that our hosting and security systems record automatically.
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first where the law requires it, and update this policy.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To deliver your order — taking payment, buying and sending your eSIM, and answering support questions. Basis: performing our contract with you.
- To keep accounting and tax records. Basis: legal obligation.
- To prevent fraud, keep the site secure and handle disputes. Basis: our legitimate interests in running a safe business.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers who process information on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Our eSIM supplier — to provision your eSIM. We send them the plan you chose and your order reference. We do not send them your email address.
- Supabase — our database, where orders are stored.
- Resend — sends your order confirmation email.
- Our website hosting provider.
We may also share information where the law requires, with our professional advisers, or with tax authorities.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of these providers are based in, or process data in, countries outside the UK, including the United States and the EU. Where this happens we rely on an appropriate safeguard under UK data protection law, such as an adequacy decision, or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for 6 years, because UK tax and company law requires it. Support emails are kept for up to 2 years after the matter is closed. After that, we delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it (where we are not required to keep it), restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. To exercise a right, email support@simstretch.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. See also our Terms of Service.
